Celebrate the EXTRA in All of Us! Do You Have a Little Extra to Give?

Meet Mark.
He’s extra sporty, extra groovy, extra hilarious, extra kind, and full of the energy and joy that makes the PREP community what it is.

Mark has an extra chromosome, but that’s not what defines him. What defines him is the way he shows up in the world — dancing to his favourite songs, playing sports with confidence, making others laugh, and bringing extra kindness in every room he enters.

This year, we’re reframing the word “extra.” In everyday language, “extra” is often used to describe someone as too much. Too loud, too enthusiastic, too emotional, too different. At PREP, we see “extra” as something to celebrate. It means personality, courage, curiosity, and heart.

Every student and adult at PREP adds something extra to this community.
Extra love.
Extra determination.
Extra possibility.

PREP provides extra support, extra community, and extra opportunities to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

But we cannot do this work alone.
This holiday season, we’re asking you:
Do you have a little extra to give?

Your gift helps fuel:
✅  Reading sessions to strengthen literacy skills
✅ Therapeutic services to achieve development and learning goals
✅ Subsidized rates for families who need financial assistance
✅ Life skills programs that promote independence and confidence

Every dollar directly impacts children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome like Mark, whose strengths shine brightest when they’re supported, encouraged, and celebrated.

Your support ensures PREP can continue offering high-quality programming and support for families who rely on us. A donation today means more opportunities, more confidence, more connection, and more “extra” moments for our community.

Your extra makes all the difference.
