Using AI to Support Inclusive Learning Environments

In this webinar we will explore the use of AI tools to assist with adaptation, modification, personalization, and differentiation of learning to promote inclusive classroom environments for all students. Practical examples will be provided and attendees will walk away with a better understanding of how AI tools can be leveraged to create more inclusive classrooms and discover specific strategies to help make course content more accessible to diverse learners. This webinar will be relevant to all grade levels and will be valuable to anyone who is either brand new to AI or has been using it regularly.
Presenter Bio: Curtis Slater is the Executive Director of The PREP Society, which provides educational and therapeutic services to children with Down syndrome in Calgary. In previous roles, Curtis has worked for the Calgary Board of Education as a researcher studying the impact of technology in the classroom, as a researcher at Vecova evaluating the impact of programs within the disability sector, and as a post-secondary instructor at Bow Valley College. Curtis has a passion for inclusion and technology and believes that education can and should be accessible to all students regardless of their diverse learning needs.
